✨ It took me a few minutes to digest, meditate, and understand the context of the post “Successful people never drink that’s half empty” shared by one of my envisioned mentors Sir Marshall Goldsmith
👉 As I understood the context of it, I went into solitude to reflect on my past to understand clearly where I am today in context to where I will be heading in the future, as I am very sure that “what got me here, will not get me there where I want to reach” – I reflected on a few points which made me realize that “If I couldn’t stop drinking from a glass that’s half empty, I wouldn’t where I am today and what I am today”.
✅ Dozens of mistakes that I have made in the past knowingly and unknowingly are:
👉 1. Trying to make new things from the old – It’s fashionable, but not sustainable.
👉 2. Not truly being myself and being the second-grade version of someone – was easy but was very difficult and painful to live others’ versions.
👉 3. I solaced myself besides knowing the solution that solace is never a solution – It was comfortable but had no integrity.
I can share some dozens like these with integrity as my life is an open book as I play everything with integrity, but the bottom line is, “If you don’t stop drinking from a glass that’s half empty, you’ll never live a fulfilled life”
✅ You will never be successful in business or in any career if you don’t transcend from such memory and behavior.
🙏 What you can do:
👉 1. Empty the glass and
👉 2. Fill it with a fresh one
✅ If you don’t empty the glass and try to fill the rest half to make it “full” – It will become meaningless even though it looks fresh on the top.
🙏 Trust me, If you get the context of what I shared above, your can transform your life “instantly” and can start the new journey of a more capable “you”.
🙏 If you contextually look into different areas of your life and business – You’ll definitely reflect on each and every failure in your life and business.
🙏 If you can reflect on your failures with integrity – Trust me, you’ll see the possibilities to progress in life and business.
✅ You need the courage to see things clearly or else you cannot. Most people fail to see things clearly, not due to a lack of courage but to fear of facing the truth as they know that they genuinely lack integrity, which is the first core value to be successful.
🙏 Even though success is a journey and it’s self-acknowledged, what makes sense in starting a journey that has no destination that which you can’t acknowledge.
I hope this post would have definitely made you reflect on your past.
